Once a row is fully occupied with max blocks, it is cleared from the screen, making space for additional falling tiles. Clearing multiple rows simultaneously can yield higher scores and enhance gameplay dynamics.

To achieve a max block, players need to perform quick mental calculations, ensuring that the combined value of a falling block and the block beneath it totals the current Max Block Value. For example, when the Max Block Value is set to 10, falling blocks can have values ranging from 1 to 9, with the resulting max block reaching a value of 10.

Following the clearance of a row, blocks positioned above will descend to fill vacant spaces. This mechanic allows players to plan moves strategically to complete incomplete max blocks in subsequent turns.

In situations where immediate solutions are required, players can utilize an in-game feature by tapping the Block X icon located at the top right corner of the interface. This dynamically adjusts its value as it is moved over other blocks to help form max blocks efficiently. If no suitable underlying block exists, Block X will automatically assume a max value independently. Additional Block X units can be acquired through watching rewarded advertisements.

The game offers quality-of-life features such as tapping below the falling tile to expedite its descent, catering to players who prefer faster gameplay pacing. As scores increase, the difficulty escalates with faster falling blocks, adding a layer of challenge.

Settings allow customization of key parameters, including the Max Block Value—up to 100—and the Difficulty Level (Easy, Medium, Difficult). Increasing difficulty reduces the likelihood of encountering low-value tiles, thereby intensifying gameplay challenge.

Block X also functions as an educational tool, promoting quick mental calculations and arithmetic skills for young players.
